Interlock for Dressers and Clothing Storage Units

On October 19, 2022, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission issued a release on anti-tip requirements for dressers and clothing storage units. On June 23, 2023 The U.S. House of Representatives passed the Stop Tip-overs of Unstable, Risky Dressers on Youth (STURDY) Act to create a mandatory federal rule that would ensure furniture stability.

Wesko Locks is offering new versions of our patented (US 10,145,149 B2) anti-tip system. The system is slide-driven and comes pre-assembled for easy "drop-in" installation. Available in two versions:

  • Heavy duty with zinc components

  • Lower cost, lighter duty with steel-reinforced plastic components

Our system is easy to install:

  • Preassembled to customer specification

  • No drawer side pins or wedges

  • Slides hold the assembly in place

Ideal for the Ready-to-Assemble furniture because it is simple to install and the system cannot be overridden to disable the anti-tip feature.

Call or email us today to find out how we can help with your anti-tipping requirements.
